Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsps ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup softened butter (1 stick)
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 can pumpkin
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 8oz boxes of cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, preferably medium, cream the butter and sugar. Then add the pumpkin, egg, and vanilla. Continue you to beat until nice and creamy.
- Mix the dry ingredients in to the butter mixture gradually. Then drop onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
- To make the Icing, cream butter and cream cheese together. then add vanilla and powdered sugar. (You can add more powdered sugar or less based on desired consistency).
- Once the cookies are cool, put on the icing and enjoy!
